How can I help?
You can help combat the problem of substance abuse by supporting the Timothy House in any number of ways:

Pray!
  • Did you know that the quickest way to touch God’s heart is to earnestly pray? That is why we are asking you today to pray for the Timothy House and every man, family, that is touched through this ministry.

Volunteer! 
  • How do I volunteer? You can volunteer your time: during the summer months especially we have a very large garden and need help on a daily basis to maintain and put up our produce. The Timothy House needs use of tractors and tillers for this project.
  • You can volunteer your time to teach and/or share the word: On Thursday nights is a time of sharing and teaching of the word. You can contact Pastor Jake at 770-324-9316 if you would like to volunteer in this way.
  • You can volunteer your time and skills as we always have a building project in the works. We always have a need for supplies and with three houses there is always something in need of fixing!

Encourage community support
  • Did you know that the Pueblo Grill in Jasper, GA supports the Timothy House through the “Build a Bed” project? When you dine at Pueblo Grill (either location) 5% of the cost of your meal will be donated to the Timothy House when you text the word “beds” to 69302 then show that text at the register when you check out. Don’t text?? No problem! Simply print out the coupon that is on our website and take it with you!

  • Are you a member of a group and/or organization that could help the Timothy House by teaming up with us? Hire a Timothy House man
  • A Timothy House man may be the answer to your prayers! Once a Timothy House man has gone through the first phase of the program and has gone through the regeneration process and been restored and rectified to Christ, he has a strength and character that make him a great asset in the work place. Donate Items
  • The Timothy House not only needs monetary donations, but we are always in need of supplies and/or items for our homes. We have three separate facilities in which the men live. In every facility there are washers and dryers, refrigerators, heating and air units, etc. These items, with 40+ men using them every day wear out. We are always looking for gently used items for our facility. If you have access to any of these items the Timothy House can always use them. 
  • Do you have any scrap metal you need hauled away? The Timothy House collects and processes scrap metal many times during the month. Give us a call to schedule a scrap metal pickup.
  • Have a car or van you would like to donate? The Timothy House is always in need of vehicles. Donate your gently loved vehicle today. All donated items are tax deductible!
  • The Timothy House is erecting a Green House that was donated to us and will need help with the construction and the plants, fertilizer, pots, etc that go into a green house. Our goal is to have this erected before the summer is out and start growing items to take to the different farmers markets in the area.
  • The Timothy House is always in need of supplies for the men. There are some men that come in with little or no support at all. These men need toiletries supplies as well as support. The house always needs food staples, things we have to purchase such as :
  • Flour, sugar, coffee, tea bags, kool-aid, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, rice, potatoes, noodles, assorted canned goods. 
  • Any type of breakfast meat
  • Hamburger, Chicken, Turkey, Assorted sandwich meats
  • Cheese

Contribute money:
  • When you contribute money you will help others who are unable to attend because of financial reasons (The Timothy House has a scholarship program for those who are truly in need and have absolutely no one that can support them through the program. Funds for these men are drastically needed. Please help the least of these, the men struggling to become Men of God, whole, healthy, drug – alcohol free. Your donations should be marked scholarship if you want to support one of these men, and you can be sure that the funds will be directed according to your desires.) You can contribute funds through our store on or website or contact Mrs. Nancy and she can process your credit card for you! Of course, you can always send funds to the Timothy House via check and/or bring your donation to the Timothy House. Drop in and see all that you and God are doing! We would love to see you!​
