The Timothy House was established in 1999.
Pastor Bob was called into the ministry in May of 2003 and the
ministry has grown to a 32 bed facility in Talking Rock,
Georgia.
Pastor Bob and Nancy Trowell know the effects of drug addiction
first hand. They have two sons, both of which struggled with
addictions. One son struggled with an alcohol addiction, the
other struggled with a severe drug addiction that almost destroyed
him and their family. After continuous and constant prayer,
God put a word in Pastor Bob and told him that if he wanted his
family saved and restored he needed to get busy helping someone
else's son. Having been affiliated, volunteering and teaching
at the Timothy House since January of 2000, he knew the need of the
ministry and he also knew that this was the area that God wanted him
to move in.
With much prayer and with help from God, who poured a great
compassion for the lost and hurting into the hearts of both Pastor
Bob and Nancy, they have, by the grace, strength, and mercy of God,
been able to serve and help many men be set free from their
addictions. There has been a true restoration and healing
in many men and their families. As God can only be true to His
word, today both of their sons are delivered, healed, restored and
are now working along side them in the ministry. To God be the
